Youth Participation and Empowerment (YPE) Programme works to promote youth participation in development and economic empowerment of young people in Malawi. The programme has six priority areas: Meaningful youth participation and networking Economic empowerment Policy advocacy Guidance and Counseling Environment Substance abuse The programme since its inception has been in the forefront of supporting capacity building efforts of its constituents through provision of resources, provision of training opportunities, mentorship programmes as well as construction of youth centers and coordination of youth activities amongst youth organizations.
